HOW TO TAKE CARE OF YOUR E-LIQUIDS

HOW TO TAKE CARE OF YOUR E-LIQUIDS

Vape Jucce is the power in your tank, so you need to look after it. If you want your vape e-liquid to last longer and give you the best experience possible, then read on.

Tip 1: Choose a quality product

There’s not much you can do to improve a product that’s poor to start with. Only buy from an official, recognised retailer. That way you’re guaranteed to get a properly manufactured and compliant e-liquid that’s been through a rigorous testing process before it’s allowed anywhere near a shop.

Tip 2: Keep the bottle sealed

Make sure you replace the cap firmly after opening and also make sure it’s locked in place. Because once opened it will begin to deteriorate as the e-liquid begins to oxidise. While it might take the time you could find the flavour becomes sweeter. High nicotine products will degrade faster, and you might find the hit is weaker.

Tip 3: Store it properly

Don’t leave e-liquids near open flames or hot surfaces or you could risk a fire. Also, keep it away from direct sunlight. A cool, dark place like a cupboard is the best place. Some vapers like to store their e-liquids in the fridge, but as the main ingredients cool at different temperatures there’s a risk of them separating. If this happens then it will seriously affect your vaping experience.

Tip 4: Check the Use By date

E-liquids do expire. They include “food grade” ingredients and like other foods, they have a Use By date. Most e-liquids have a shelf-life of around two years from the manufacturing date. This does vary slightly depending on the formulation used, but if you’ve had it for a while check the date first before using it.

Tip 5: Keep it away from children

Youngsters are ever curious but children and vape juice are not a good mix. E-liquids usually come in pretty cool-looking bottles with colourful and bright designs. But if a child is accidentally exposed to e-liquids containing nicotine it can result in poisoning and even in extreme cases, death. By buying from a recognised retailer like Vape-Jucce your e-liquid should already come in child-proof packaging. So always keep your vape juice in the original bottle and make sure that your child knows that they’re not meant to touch it.

Tip 6: Avoid contact with the skin

ALWAYS avoid contact with your skin and eyes when you use these products. E-liquid exposure can cause burning and irritation, among other problems. In case of accidental contact with skin or eyes, wash the area thoroughly with soap and water. And always clean up any spills or splashes immediately using soap and water.

And finally…

While vaping is much cheaper than smoking, you will still no doubt be happy to save money where you can. You can do this by making your vape juice last longer. How you ask?

  • Avoid high-powered vape mods
  • Use a lower-powered output
  • Don’t use low-resistance coils – they need more power
  • Opt for higher nicotine strength. Lower strengths could result in you vaping more often, especially if you’re new to vaping and using it as an aid to quit smoking
  • Airflow could affect how much e-juice you use when vaping. A ring at the base of your tank can be adjusted. It is thought that more e-liquid hits the coil if the airflow is wide open, helping to reduce usage.

It’s important to look after your vape juice. Some of the ingredients can be quite fragile and need to be handled with care. By following some, or all, of these tips, you can get the most use from your juice and save pennies at the same time. Win, win!
